Our volunteers are the hands and feet of this ministry, demonstrating kindness, patience, and a willingness to give in our efforts for community support. Whether organizing, lifting, greeting, or praying, every role in providing food assistance matters. As we serve side by side, we not only meet physical needs but also foster connections that strengthen and uplift both those who give and those who receive spiritual care.

On November 1, 1982, with one bag of food, one bag of clothing, and a heart to help others, Diane and Nan began their ministry in a single-car garage. Recognizing the need for community support, they felt called by God to make a difference. From those humble beginnings, Nourishment for the Needy was created. More than 40 years later, we continue our mission of food assistance and spiritual care from a dedicated facility, diligently carrying on God's work of compassion and care.

As a faith-based ministry, we believe that caring for others is a sacred calling. This pantry serves as a vital resource for community support, going beyond mere provision to become a beacon of hope where faith is actively demonstrated. Our focus is on guiding individuals toward a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. We honor the dignity of all who seek our help by offering compassionate and immediate food assistance during times of physical crises. Additionally, we provide spiritual care and prayer, ministering to the whole person alongside our food and clothing support.
With grateful hearts, we come together in community support to meet a simple but urgent need: nourishment. Each bag of groceries symbolizes more than just food; it embodies dignity, compassion, and the assurance that no one in our community walks alone. Through these small acts of service and food assistance, we reflect the love we've received and share it freely with others, while also offering spiritual care to those in need.
